Audio never touches our servers
Speech recognition is handled entirely by your browser's built-in engine (e.g. Chrome uses Google's Web Speech API). Your microphone audio is never sent to or stored by Hynds AI servers.
No account, no profile
The free tier needs no sign-up. We don’t build a user profile, and we don’t ask for anything we don’t need.
No transcript database
Transcripts live in your browser’s local storage. We keep no server-side store of your transcripts or recordings — period.
AI runs only on demand
Text is sent for processing only when you click an AI action, used to fulfill that request, and not retained to train models.
Payments handled by Stripe
Checkout runs on Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). Card numbers go to Stripe directly and never touch our application.
Abuse protection
Per-address rate limiting guards the AI endpoints against runaway use — protecting availability and cost for everyone.

Do you train AI on my transcripts?
No. Your text is sent to the AI provider only to fulfill the action you clicked, and is not used to train models. We keep no server-side copy of your transcripts.
Where is my data processed?
Speech-to-text is handled by your browser's built-in engine (Chrome routes audio through Google's Web Speech API, for example). When you invoke an AI action, that text is processed by our AI provider to return the result. Hynds AI never receives your raw audio, and nothing about your transcript is persisted in our database.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
No install and no account for the free tier. It runs in a modern browser. Pro simply unlocks higher limits and removes ads via a license key.
Can I expense it / get a receipt?
Yes. Checkout and receipts are handled by Stripe, so you get a standard emailed invoice suitable for expensing.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep Pro through the end of the period you paid for, then the account reverts to the free tier. No lock-in, no data to reclaim since nothing is stored server-side.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Edge (desktop and Android) give the best experience — continuous recognition, all 13 spoken languages, and the most accurate results. Safari on iOS/macOS works for short dictations but pauses more often and has limited language support. Firefox does not support the Web Speech API and will not offer dictation. We recommend Chrome or Edge for the full experience.
Can I control the AI’s tone or make it write as a specific role?
Yes — that’s the Pro fine-tune panel. You give the AI a role (e.g. “senior legal counsel”), add background context, and pick a tone and length. Every cleanup then comes back shaped the way you want, instead of a generic default.
How many devices can I use one Pro key on?
A Pro key activates on up to 3 devices at once — your laptop, phone, and tablet, for example. If a 4th device tries to activate the same key, we automatically issue a fresh key and email it to you; the old key stops working everywhere. It keeps your subscription yours without nagging you about device counts.
